The home of the Toa Metru has changed greatly since the events of BIONICLE 2: Legends of Metru Nui. A devastating earthquake has toppled bridges, wrecked protodermis canals, collapsed chutes, and shattered the Archives. One sun has been blocked, with only a dim sunlight filtering into the city. Mist and webbing shroud the city and the darkness is filled with the cries of Rahi running wild. What was once a technologically advanced city is now a savage land.
