The Sound of Updates 2: Stock Music Edition

We are happy to bring you a big music update today! Included are many stock music tracks that were used in a variety of trailers and promotional material for Bionicle over the years. They’re all in their own album that you can download or stream from the music page (scroll down to the Misc section).

We’re also planning a gradual transition to FLAC over mp3 where possible – you can see this reflected in the changes.

And there’s plenty more new beyond that! Here’s the changelog:

  • General
    • Various albums had slight name changes and album art changes
  • Animation Music
    • Renamed TLR and JTO albums for consistency
  • Game Music
    • Redid Quest for the Toa soundtrack in better quality, added HQ Kopaka track from Huai Snowball Sling standalone release
    • Quest for the Toa and Heroes GBA downloads include midis and tracker modules respectively
    • Heroes Mobile and Challenge/Defenders downloads have been updated to their original midis
    • Updated Legend of Mata Nui soundtrack. Download now includes WAVs from Dave Madden
    • Added beta placeholder tracks to Bionicle Heroes soundtrack
    • Updated Bionicle Heroes GBA soundtrack to use HQ versions from Tom Miller
    • Renamed Bionicle Heroes mobile track names
    • Renamed Mask of Control track names
    • Updated City of Legends music to PS2 versions (which are better!)
    • Removed Agori Defender music (source now in stock music)
  • Stock Music
    • Added stock music
  • Miscellaneous
    • Removed tracks that now have full versions in the stock music album
  • Added links to Spotify playlists of music we can’t host to downloads
