Check out our Artwork page to see the new images from the recent Style Guide released by Torsti of BZPower, as well as our text version of the BIONICLE Synopsis. There were a lot of spelling mistakes in the official BIONICLE Synopsis as it was printed, moreso than any other serial that we’ve seen yet, so I corrected as much as I could before releasing it.

BIONICLE G2 “Masks of Power” Trailer Leaked
A short time ago, it was discovered that the BIONICLE website now contains a videos page that is not linked to on the main site. On it is the below trailer for the upcoming series of animated shorts, as well as a higher quality version of The Legend as seen on the official Facebook page.
JMMB and I were able to snag both videos in case the page is taken down, which can both be downloaded here:

Pictures 0.1.2 G2
The pictures archive for Generation 2 has been updated. Included are all of today’s BIONICLE website updates including instruction manuals for the Toa, Protectors, LoSS, and combiners. The archive can be downloaded here:

Full Map of Okoto
BIONICLE.COM now has an interactive, zoom-able map of the island of Okoto, which is neat, but it lacks a way of viewing the whole image at once. So, I decided to fix this. A few short scripts and a little ImageMagick magic later, I present to you the full map of Okoto, in a single PNG image. Click the image above to view the full 4096 x 2048 image, or click here (warning, the image is about 9 megabytes).
BIONICLE.COM Update
LEGO has updated the BIONICLE website with new images, new content, and even more teaser information! Highlights include a semi-interactive map of Okoto, images and information on the regions of Okoto, and the names of the first three animations, “Prophecy of heroes”, “The Arrival”, and “Quest for the Golden Mask” with short descriptions. What are you waiting for, go check it out!
Flash Episodes Archive Update
The Flash Episodes archive has been updated to fix an issue with audio files not playing in the 2006 Piraka Animations (thanks for noticing fishers64!). I’ve also moved the rather-large video recordings of the animations out of the archive, but they are still available as a separate download. I’ve also moved the 2006 Character Bios to another download, replacing the broken Kongu SWF with the functioning one from the Inika Promo CD. Additionally, I’ve added new HTML viewers for all the animations, so they can be viewed without the off-screen graphics if desired.
Audio Archive 2.1 Trailer!
It’s been a few months since our last update to the audio archive, but we’re finally about ready to release a new version. There are still a few things to take care of, so it’ll be a little while before the time comes for it to be publicly released. But in the meantime, check out the trailer we put together to let you in on what material will be included! And make sure to watch until the end for a very special announcement…
BIONICLE Style Guide Images
Here’s a quick crawl of the BIONICLE Style Guide images that we have to date. This includes:
- The 2001-2003 Style Guide images from this BZPower topic
- The 2001-2003 Style Guide images from the promo CDs from the same topic
- The 2006 Style Guide images from Crunchbite Nuva’s crawl of http://www.ulkutay.net/
styleguides/bionicle/
The images from the Style Guide CDs are notable because they are the first PSD images we have ever seen officially released, with layers too. There are a lot of new images in there that we’ve never seen before. These images will be included in our next version of the picture archive and will be added to the streaming image gallery.
BIONICLE Style Guide CDs
We’ve added download links for the BIONICLE Style Guide CDs released by Torsti of BZPower on our Promo CDs page. There are a lot of never before seen images there, in original PSD format too, something that we’ve never seen before, which we’ll be adding to the next release of the G1 pictures archive.
