BMP YouTube is Growing

Vahkiti has begun the process of providing a mirror of our Bionicle video archive on the BioMedia Project YouTube. Since direct linking to the videos hosted on our server can be cumbersome, we hope this will make accessing and finding the things you are looking for a simpler task! And you can still always come here to bypass the YouTube compression algorithms get the vids in their original quality. Stay tuned as uploads continue over the coming weeks – hit the “subscribe” button even, as we “You Tubers” like to say.

Toa Terrain Crawler Commercial

2007 Playset Commercial

Uploaded by Captain B. Z’s VHS Archive in a larger commercial break collection last year, this ad was spotted by Louis 157, who provided a standalone upload. Thanks Louis! I had no idea this one existed… its in the archive now, though!

A minor correction to the last update as well: I neglected to mention Wynn Martin provided the scans of the Bohrok Awake booklet. They’re much appreciated! That news post has been updated to reflect her contributions.

2008 History Booklet and More

Bionicle History
LEGO Bionicle Magazine:  Issue 1  |  Issue 2
The Coming of the Bohrok

N once again brings us a few more items for the archive! Some excellent scans of the Bionicle History booklet that was distributed in a few regions in 2008, plus the two issues of the G2 Bionicle magzine, both in Russian. The booklet has some of the clearest images available of the seldom used 2005 “movie still” style renders! N also provided scans of the content that cropped up in the Russian editions of the comics, but not the US ones we have hosted already. These images are integrated into the comics downloads now – there’s some stuff for both 2005 and 2009. Did you know in Russia, you could send images of Rahaga Bomonga to your friends over SMS?

We’ve also now got the story booklet for the Bohrok Swarm TCG, “The Coming of the Bohrok” – courtesy of Wynn Martin! The “Legend of Mata Nui” booklet that came with Quest for the Masks will also be added once we have direct scans, but for now you can always reference ivanproff’s fantastic digital recreation.
