A Second 2006 Nestle Commercial

Watch the Nestle battle spinners commercial in the 2006 playlist, toward the bottom.

BZP member Illuminatus has come across an ad for the battle spinners some countries saw boxed with Nestle cereals in 2006. It was uploaded directly by the production studio, Tridev Entertainment, to their Vimeo! In it, Vezok is destroyed by a child with the power of a balanced breakfast.

Illuminatus was also the one to provide a recording of the Nestle mini warriors ad, back in the year it aired! They very helpfully linked to that original upload, so our copy of that video has also been updated (previously we had sourced it from a Youtube re-upload).

Piraka Rap Extended Version, Jam 2K2

Ganonthegreat recently acquired a rare promo disc from Jetix and found some 06 Bionicle material on it, including this new mix of the Piraka Rap! In addition to being much longer than the only version we’ve had up to now, this one appears to be more polished, with a proper ending instead of cutting off.

We’re also adding the Bionicle Jam 2K2 to the Miscellaneous music section in this update. This is the audio track that accompanied the live Bionicle Jam performance at Legoland California in 2002. It’s been floating around for a while now, but better we add it late than never! Thanks to DoomTay for preserving it on Internet Archive – they apparently got it from BZP back in the day. I’d wager it was probably originally posted on the website of the production studio, PRP Inc.

These tracks are now both streaming on the Music page (under Songs->2006 and Miscellaneous->Miscellaneous, respectively) and included in the appropriate download packages. Here are the individual mp3s if you prefer – enjoy!

2004 Bionicle Story Bible

Lehvak Nuva has done the impossible and discovered a Bionicle story bible on the web! He found it on this page for a Russian Bionicle retailer, which means, like the 2015 bible discovered some time ago, it is in Russian. Here’s the unaltered DOC and a rough Google translation into English:

BIONICLE-Story2004-RUS
BIONICLE-Story2004-ENG_google

Thanks once again to N for alerting us! He noted down some of the most interesting features, so rather than restating them I’ll quote him:

– unfortunately, apparently, this is a cropped version of the Bible. There are absolutely no “Internal Use Only” content, as it was in the 2015 Bible. Apparently, this is why the document was posted in the public domain on the site, because contains only public information
– A LOT OF descriptions of locations. The most interesting thing is that the locations and their description are fully consistent with all locations that we saw on CD-ROMs. For example, Orkham’s house, in which a huge map hangs, just like in a game
– descriptions of all characters, including combo models, with the exception of Lhikan, although Kikanalo is mentioned in the Po-Metru section
– mentioned Troller from the early script of BIONICLE 2
– in the descriptions of the Matoran there are plot explanations of why there are disks with such abilities in sets with them. It is very interesting
– There are some interesting little details that we have never seen in any media. They are not important for the plot and do not affect anything, but nevertheless they very curiously supplement the general picture of the world of the City of Legends. For example, disc collectors are often mentioned throughout the Bible, although we have not seen them in story.

This bible will be added in to a new section on BMP that will be arriving (hopefully!) soon.
