Back in June of 2019, I managed to get a hold of a PS2 build of the cancelled sequel to Bionicle: The Game, known as Bionicle 2: City of Legends. Prior to 2019, the only build of this cancelled sequel available was for the original Xbox.\u00a0 Now, in April 2020, I received another PS2 build of the game, and a previously unseen pitch document from a source that wishes to remain anonymous. This PS2 build is slightly newer than the one I recovered in 2019, and closely resembles the original Xbox build. Like the PS2 build I received in 2019, this build also has working audio, and all of the graphical effects missing in the Xbox build.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pitch document I received contains a fair amount of concept art, as well as multiple planned gameplay elements! It’s quite an interesting read.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
