MASK OF LIGHT OFFLINE EDITION - READ ME


IMPORTANT NOTICE

Do not rename, rearrange, move, or delete any of the files or folders. Doing so will cripple the game.

This site was designed for Flash Player 6, and has been tested to work with Flash Players 6 through 10.

The Unity, Duty, Destiny links do not work or do not work properly when used without the HTML launchers.

Some links are not available.




DIFFERENCES FROM THE ONLINE VERSION THAT LEGO HAD

Clicking the Unity, Duty, and Destiny buttons all take you to the Destiny starting place, however, the content is the same wherever you start.



METHODS OF PLAY

The "MainSite" portion can be played from either your internet browser, a stand-alone Flash Player, or by the included EXE's (see instructions below).

(The files I refer to can be found in the "MainSite" folder.)


HOW TO OPEN IN AN INTERNET BROWSER:
(Flash Player browser plug-in 8 or 9 required)

Open "Launcher" HTML Document ("Launcher.html") in your Internet browser.




HOW TO OPEN IN A STAND-ALONE FLASH PLAYER:


INTRO MOVIE:

Open the file named “IntroLauncher” Shockwave Flash Object ("IntroLauncher.swf") in your stand-alone Flash Player.


MAIN SITE:

Open “MainSiteLauncher” Shockwave Flash Object ("MainSiteLauncher.swf") in your stand-alone Flash Player.




HOW TO OPEN EXE'S:

INTRO MOVIE:

Open the file named “IntroLauncher”, Application ("IntroLauncher.exe").


MAIN SITE:

Open “MainSiteLauncher” Application ("MainSiteLauncher.exe").




INTERESTING NOTES

Many of the files are named differently from their correct spelling, and many files are named with the pre-Day spelling.

There is a glitch that will allow you to quickly answer the trivia question right, even if you get it wrong, before you go back to the area.
