Ta-Koro, newly repaired from the damage inflicted by the Bohrok, plays host to a big kolhii match. But sports are not the only thing found in Ta-Koro.
Takua chances upon the great Kanohi “Mask of Light,” a mask that glows on its own. His friend Jaller is tasked with finding the prophesied Seventh Toa and Takua joins him. Their task is made far more dangerous by Makuta’s minions, the Rahkshi – six vicious and mighty warriors who exist only to serve Makuta’s will.
The two Matoran travel the length and breadth of Mata Nui, following the Mask of Light’s shining guide, while the Toa Nuva try to stop the Rahkshi from destroying the villages. Ta-Koro is lost, but the Toa overcome their differences to defend Takua as he discovers the true Seventh Toa.
A final winner-take-all kolhii battle between the Toa of Light and Makuta, followed by a surprising union, reveals a secret hidden for a thousand years. And a new hope…
