They are no longer Toa. They are Toa Nuva.
Plunged into energized protodermis after the capture of Cahdok and Gahdok, the six Toa heroes emerge transformed: they carry new and improved weapons, more powerful armor, even their Kanohi masks have been altered. The Toa discover they have new abilities and their powers are extended.
The Toa Nuva will need every bit of their new abilities to save the island of Mata Nui from six new foes, the Bohrok-Kal. The Kal are stealing the Nuva Symbols, stone tablets containing each Toa’s elemental powers. Extremely powerful and smart, the Kal aim to activate a Nuva cube with the stolen symbols and free the Bahrag queens.
Their ultimate plan to free the Bohrok swarms can only be stopped by the Toa Nuva, who must work together even without their elemental powers.
