The Matoran of Light find themselves at war with each other, as many of their number have been turned to darkness by the Brotherhood of Makuta. Both sides ally with more powerful warriors – the Toa Nuva or the Makuta – in the fight for Karda Nui.

Solek is an expert on the ancient legends of Lewa, Pohatu, etc., and knows more about their past than they do! Kopaka is his hero and he wants to be more like him, but has not yet discovered how to contain his excitement and master his emotions.
